81 of Fordyce, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the St. John’s Nursing Home in Fordyce. Mrs. Rogers was born in Ramsey, Ark., on July 29, 1939, to the late Frank and Orie Morgan Sisson. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Prosperity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rupert Rogers of Fordyce, Ark.; a son, Richard Lee Rogers, and his wife, Angie, of Killen, Ala.; a daughter-inlaw, Candace Brown Rogers of Fordyce, Ark.; four grandchildren, Blake and Kendyl Rogers of Killen, Ala., Ross Rogers and his wife, Samantha, of Fordyce, Ark., Ashlea Alexander and her husband, Michael, of Fordyce, Ark.; and one great-grandchild, Benjamin Alexander of Fordyce, Ark. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Alan Rogers.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at the Stoney Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
