age 87, died on March 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. McCloy Jr.; father, Gene Nangle; mother, Jeanette Nangle; sister, Mary Eileen Wilcox; and brother, Gene Charles Nangle. Born in Little Rock, Ark., she attended Mt. St. Mary’s Academy, Sullins College in Bristol, Va., and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She worked for the Cathedral School in Little Rock as a secretary for many years, and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed traveling by train and cruise ships with her husband in her retirement. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her children, Clifford E. Mccloy, III of Fayetteville, Ark., Cathryn E. Swartzwelder of Conway, Ark., Elizabeth M. Schundler of Nahant, Mass., and Melissa A. Schafhauser of Clinton, N.J.; fourteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
