NLR man arrested in shooting of teen
Pulaski County deputies on Friday arrested a North Little Rock man on a capital murder charge related to a Thursday evening shooting that left an 18-year-old dead, a sheriff’s office news release states.
Deputies around 7 p.m. Thursday responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of East 46th Street and Mimosa Road, near North Little Rock, and located Trayleon Jones, 18, shot dead, the release states.
Investigators arrested Jacob Derrick, 28, in Jones’ killing, the release states, and booked him in the Pulaski County jail Friday. The jail’s online inmate roster did not list a bond amount on Friday afternoon.
